Why we started

The problem is not lack of dreams. It is lack of access.

In many villages and small towns, students may have a smartphone but no mentor, may finish school without career direction, and may have the talent to learn technology but not the money, lab access or guidance to begin.

Mission

Free practical technology education for students who need it most.

We teach with respect, mentor with patience, track outcomes with transparency and use every approved rupee for measurable learning impact.

Vision

A student's birthplace or income should not decide their digital future.

The Foundation exists to bridge rural potential with the skills, confidence and exposure needed for the digital economy.

Belief

Talent is everywhere. Opportunity is not.

Skillonit Foundation is not weak charity. It is dignity-building, capability-building and career-pathway creation.

Who can benefit

Serious learners blocked by money, distance or guidance

The Foundation may work with schools, colleges, orphanages, gram panchayats, NGOs, community leaders and CSR partners to identify deserving learners.

Need

Financial or social barrier

Intent

Ready to learn seriously

Support

Mentoring and pathway

Selection is based on need, readiness, available seats and verification.

This keeps the process fair for students and credible for donors.

01

Rural students

Students from villages and small towns who need structured digital career guidance.

02

Farmer-family children

Learners whose education choices are limited by income uncertainty, distance or family pressure.

03

Orphan and semi-orphan students

Students who need a stronger support system, mentorship and long-term encouragement.

04

Financially underprivileged youth

Students who are serious about learning but cannot afford paid technology training.

05

First-generation learners

Young people entering the digital economy without family guidance or career exposure.

06

Girls and women in rural India

Safe, confidence-building technology pathways for rural girls and women learners.

Every program focuses on practice, projects and confidence, not only certificates.

How free training works

A transparent journey from application to measurable progress

Free education should not be random charity. It should be a measurable pathway from awareness to confidence, skills, projects and employability support.

1

Awareness

Students learn about the Foundation through schools, colleges, gram-level networks, NGOs, partners or word of mouth.

2

Application or nomination

Students apply directly or are nominated by teachers, institutions, orphanages, NGOs or community leaders.

3

Eligibility verification

Need, motivation, rural background and learning readiness are reviewed through a transparent process.

4

Baseline assessment

Digital skills, logic, English confidence and career awareness are assessed before batch allocation.

5

Training and mentoring

Learners attend structured sessions, submit assignments, build projects and receive mentor feedback.

6

Career bridge

Students receive resume, portfolio, interview, internship and next-step guidance after completing training.

7

Impact tracking

Attendance, training hours, projects, confidence growth and longer-term outcomes are tracked responsibly.

CSR and donor partnership

Fund education that can be tracked, reported and trusted

Companies and donors can support education, skill development, livelihood enhancement, digital inclusion, rural development and women empowerment programs through structured, compliance-aware projects.

A motivated rural learner studying with hope and determination

A learner may have the hunger to learn, but not the money to begin.

CSR support can turn that motivation into guided training, projects, mentoring and a real career pathway.

We can structure projects with clear objectives, beneficiary criteria, budgets, timelines, training hours, outcomes and reporting formats.

FAQ

Common questions about Skillonit Foundation

Scroll inside this section to browse more questions as the Foundation FAQ grows.

What is Skillonit Foundation?

Skillonit Foundation is a non-profit social-impact initiative created to provide free, mentor-led and career-focused technology education to eligible rural, financially underprivileged, orphan, farmer-family and first-generation learners.

Who can apply for free training?

Priority is given to rural students, children of farmers or daily wage workers, orphan and semi-orphan students, economically weaker learners, first-generation learners, girls and youth from socially or economically backward communities.

What will selected students learn?

Depending on level and program support, students may learn computer basics, internet safety, coding, Python, web development, UI/UX, AI awareness, data analytics, cybersecurity basics, spoken English, resume building and interview preparation.

How does the free training process work?

Students apply or are nominated, eligibility is verified, baseline skills are assessed, batches are created, training is delivered with assignments and mentoring, then students receive project and career-readiness support.

Can a company support the Foundation through CSR?

Yes. Companies can discuss CSR-aligned education, skill development, livelihood enhancement, digital inclusion, rural development and women empowerment programs, subject to legal documentation and compliance requirements.

How will donors know their support is used properly?

The Foundation can provide structured updates such as beneficiary counts, attendance, training hours, project milestones, utilization summaries, consent-based stories and outcome reports as agreed.

Does the Foundation guarantee jobs?

No. The Foundation provides training, mentorship, projects, internship guidance and career-readiness support. Jobs depend on learner effort, market conditions, role fit and available opportunities.

Can international donors contribute?

International support will be accepted only through legally permitted routes after FCRA and other applicable compliance requirements are verified.

Let us build rural digital futures together

Be the reason a student enters the technology world.

A student in a village can become a developer. A farmer's child can become a designer. An orphan student can become financially independent. A girl from a rural background can build a career in technology. But someone must open the first door.
